Where Dragon still wins
Hospital documentation is the moat. Integrations with electronic health records, terminology packs for specialties, and procurement familiarity mean a clinic choosing dictation infrastructure in 2026 can still rationally choose Dragon. Deep hand-built vocabularies also remain valuable for narrow domains with unusual naming: some legal practices, some engineering shops.
