Free desktop downloads and local inference

v0.8
  • Windows, macOS, and Linux binaries are now public downloads with no account or subscription check.
  • Fresh installs stay in free local mode instead of prompting for cloud credentials; existing cloud configuration is still preserved.
  • The install flow now separates recommended Parakeet local inference, experimental VibeVoice CPU testing, and optional paid cloud/API service.

Command mode, research docs, and document audio

v0.7
  • Command mode is now front-and-center across the product site, including the voice-driven editing workflow already supported by the desktop app.
  • Deep research now has public documentation: capture a spoken request, generate a research brief, and move that output into a working document.
  • AI Notebook and Voice Writer now include a document audio bar so you can play back your draft with text-to-speech while you edit.

Notebook workflow tightened up

v0.6
  • AI Notebook formatting stays one shortcut away, turning rough dictation into clean Markdown.
  • Document export remains simple: copy Markdown or download a `.md` file directly from the editor.

Public tools and install flow expanded

v0.5
  • The free tools lineup now makes Voice Writer, Voice to Text, and AI Notebook easier to discover without signing in first.
  • Install and API docs stay linked from the main marketing surface so users can move from demo to production faster.
